The Gargano is a unique promontory: a green “spur” overlooking the Adriatic Sea and home to one of the most important national parks in southern Italy.
The Foresta Umbra, the green heart of the park, is a protected area rich in biodiversity, shaded paths and trekking routes suitable for different levels. It is the ideal place if you love walking, cycling or simply breathing fresh air away from the coast.

Among the most iconic locations in the Gargano are Vieste and Peschici, two seaside villages with white historic centres, scenic alleys and natural terraces overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Vieste is famous for its ‘Pizzomunno’ sea stack and long sandy beaches, while Peschici is known for its perched houses and secluded coves. Both are worth visiting in the evening, when the village comes alive and the sea reflects the lights of the town.
